We’ll discuss how to fit your skill sets with the booming industries and opportunities within those countries. Lastly, we’ll discuss what it really takes and what to expect, helping to ease into the move as smooth as possible.

This session will cover all the ins and outs to networking, finding resources abroad, top job sites (and ones to avoid!), and more. We’ll talk about how to maximize LinkedIN to be your best friend and ways to approach people about your dream and sell yourself!

Topic 3: Settling in & Formalities (How to Keep Legal and Safe)
Here we will keep you legal, safe and help you maintain your citizenship. Imagine: How to open a bank account, pay your taxes, find an apartment, get a Visa (not the credit card), establish a flow of finances returning home so your credit score doesn’t plummet…and more… there’s a lot you wouldn’t think of.

Topic 4: How to Manage Personal Relationships
Most people ignore this part—get caught up in the novelty of being abroad—and then fail in their job and life. This session will cover everything from how to keep in touch with people back home (and WHY!), how to meet friends abroad, dating abroad, and more. If you disregard this aspect and/or hang out with the wrong people, it will ruin your experience… no matter how great the job.
